Applied Learning Opportunities
Throughout the degree, you will take part in hands-on, practical labs in diverse topics such as fitness assessment, human anatomy, exercise physiology, and biomechanics.
You will complete Integrated Physical Activity for Life (IPAL) courses, a unique set of two year-long experiential courses. Through IPALs, you will gain hands-on experience and foundational knowledge in physical fitness, mental health, physical literacy, adapted and inclusive physical activity, leadership, and safety engaging in practice-based learning.
You can also enhance your career readiness through our or undergraduate research opportunities to build skills, make connections, and prepare for future professional or graduate studies.
